Remembering Coach Navarro

Dear Little League family,

Yesterday we learned of the passing of one of our board members, Mr. David Navarro. David loved baseball and dedicated much of his free time to teaching the game to the youth of our community. He played Little League as a child and as an adult he dedicated over 20 years to Lockhart Little League as a coach and manager. He would volunteer whenever there was a need, one season he coached 3 teams. He loved coaching and helped coach hundreds of boys over the years. You would never have to ask him what team name he wanted because the answer was always the Texas Rangers. David was dedicated, hardworking, reliable, and friendly; traits that embody the spirit of Little League. Most of all he was our friend and he will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends in this difficult time.
