Refund Options

Little League Families,

The Lockhart Little League board has been in discussions on how to handle refunds due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After reviewing the leagues finances, the Board has decided to offer 4 options that each parent should consider when choosing whether or not their child/children will participate in the 2020 Spring season.

As a nonprofit organization we rely on sponsorships, donations and fundraisers to fund our
league and its operations. So these options take into account what had already been spent in preparation for the 2020 season.

Option 1 Play Spring/Summer 2020 baseball/softball in June and July and receive a
$15 credit voucher*
for Fall 2020 or Spring 2021.

Option 2 Wait until Fall 2020 to play baseball/softball and apply the remaining balance of the Spring 2020
registration fee towards player registration

Option 3 Forgo 2020 seasons and receive a refund check of 40% of what was paid for Spring 2020 registration.

Option 4 Donate remaining balance of 2020 registration fee to Lockhart Little League

Please click the link below and complete a form for each child that was registered. The form allows you to select which option you would like. Any player that doesn’t submit a form by the deadline will donate the unused portion of their registration fees to the Lockhart Little League.

Q&A

Why do I only get a partial refund?

State and local closures for COVID-19 occurred one week before the games started. A portion
of the registration fee had already been spent on league operating costs, field maintenance costs (to get fields in playable condition), and team jerseys and hats were ordered and printed.
